Event Description
For the first Practical Skills Session of the term, we are delighted to reinvite Mr. Neil Hilary from the Institution and Faculty of Actuaries to tell us more about reserving applications.
Practical Skills Sessions are tailored to provide our members with first hand practical experiences and an insight into the fundamental work of an actuary. The session will cover three common methods on Actuarial Reserving - Loss Ratio, the Chain Ladder Principle and the Bornhuetter-Ferguson principle.
Please bring your own computer (CHARGED) for the session and we highly encourage you to read the background reading and try to solve the questions which will be discussed during the session
