Annual General Meeting 2018

The LSESU Actuarial Society will be holding the long-awaited Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 7th March 2018. During the meeting, we will be presenting an annual report for the academic year 2016/17, followed by the election of the new executive committee for the academic year 2017/18.
There will be 7 executive committee positions open for nominations, and they are:
2) Vice president
3) Corporate Relations Director
4) Events Director
5) Marketing Director
Candidates who want to run for the presidency will have to give a 3-minute speech.
Other positions, however, will only be required to give a 2-minute speech.
Q&A session will follow after all candidates for a particular position has given their respective speeches.
Rules on applying for the EXCO position:
Each person is allowed to run for multiple positions, but will only need to produce one manifesto (max. 400 words) per person for their first choice. The order of election will follow the rolling down basis.
The deadline for the submission of applications will be at 23:59hrs on the 4th March 2018.
We do accept any nominations on the day of the event as well; you may either nominate yourself or have others to nominate potential candidates but we will require their consent.
Once both parties agreed, the nominated candidate will then have to give either 2 or 3 minutes speech depending on the position.
